Mild Vision

Long ago, his vanishing act completed, /he smoothed things over, /with things going bump in the night/Returns to the visible world, /asks for a glass of water;/ a big boned girl without features/ poured a blue cup of jinxes /an original potion./Roofs of the houses blown off, revealing the wall’s soft colors./Edible seeds in both pockets, /he planted a few, ate the rest,/ scattered more in  craters./He’s joined to a creed;/from a halo that floats/over talking rocks in the park. /Where his wishes always spilled /,in cadence,fleshed out/by wild imaginings of gambles/ in patterns of oak leaf clusters
