Amazing Take

I can’t clench my teeth from the coffee/but I find it is all the same./Night after night,  I curl around a vision of a man ‘o war dead washed up on the beach. Apt in the balance, to feel so lonesome, /I engage in shrouded feud /with the contour of my room. /A couple down the hallway /engaged in nonstop argument. /I’m tired of the logic they produce,/looking for an appealing breakfast,/I boil up Jello/ I watch the eagle on the dollar clench branches and arrows. Am I the only one who curves when I taste things? /Extinguish  sights and sounds/ those things bring on mayhem. /Memory builds  a  ghost/rises towards avenues, /ruined, shuttered./Dawn knows the score.
