After those grainy kisses, mouthfuls of candy,/I came to inquire of the freeze upon the inland sea/what luck could conjure between us.\/I thought we could weave ourselves away from the shoals/better than a knock on the door/in the comfort of firm wet sand./ An image made aware/out of it’s wrapper:/a sudden fierce mirage./A stolen lode of distant dreams/ in aqua, two metals in alloy leave burn marks on my skin./A silhouette sketched in sand, robbing her ghost,/appeared on dry peaks,/void of water,/it asked the ledge height/where monks staggered
