Silhouettes You Gave Me

I seem to be able ,/to note what’s simple,/ I spend each moment in gesture./I pose on the floor /I recline on the cabinet,/I bring birdlife to a halt./Cloud cover boils/vanishes in summer,/an unknown terrain/ peopled only by shadow./I leave as they welcome my eyesight./What I took here/ I cannot leave with;/ it remains on my return./Considered steps ` effortless breath;/ on the side, strangers in shadows./Water provokes our reflection
