Moon Spooks

That morning I found myself standing/at the gas pump, with no car,/nobody’s home, in their good graces, /I fix the leak, then jump over the counter/splash gas pools, rainbow puddles/night tries to imitate day/by an extra stale moon./One foot in front of the other/arrive at charmed chalked circles./I follow the sun,/kowtow to it’s blazing trail/it propels my evening with meaning, makes sense/ as I continue to jabber away.
