Let A Pair of Eyes Break

I can tell you got your dander up,/ just let me know,/ when you want to smash things/in an automatic weave./Progress bends in its’ ventures, yet and still I fix things /like hoaxes regardless of their phase.Days in power, we spent in Valhalla/marked by rented affection./Kept track of histories/ seen from knotholes,/planned careers as fluid dynamos/but okay with cereal strewn on tables,/beings with companion beings./A shot;but not like a razor or spear, /it’s wakeful, has rhetoric,/to itself a signal,/like bronze fan blades/it comes in wheels./We can’t trade our pain /we must proceed.
