Transfer Unknown

I swallowed the fabric’s edge,/rough on the tongue/my prayer glowed in letters/it bored me to tears./Advance into night, unattended,/armed only with a witless song/of who rules the earth/after it stops spinning/to anchor my arms./As I descend to the water/I’m wrapped in a taste,/it reports an effigy cornered/a wax doll I fashioned/ it slides into the sink./The known earth spins on it’s axis/my doll determines it’s direction/the dial light gives a wrong number
